The West Kingdom Tomesaga is a love letter with an entry fee, a campaign box that chains Architects, Paladins, and Viscounts of the West Kingdom into a linked saga, adds cooperative and solo ways to play a trilogy built for competition, and hands completionists the connective tissue their shelf was waiting for. For owners of all three games it's a clever second life, chronicle play that makes familiar engines feel like chapters. For everyone else it's a box that requires a library. The bookkeeping runs fiddly, the coop conversions fit some of the trilogy better than others, and the audience is narrow by design. Inside that narrow audience, it delivers exactly what it promises.

The Dark Knight Rises is an ambitious, emotionally charged conclusion to Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy that swings for the fences with its epic scope and thematic weight. Tom Hardy's Bane is a physically imposing villain, Anne Hathaway's Catwoman silenced the skeptics, and the Bruce Wayne arc delivers a deeply moving payoff. Plot holes, a deflating third-act twist, and pacing that sags under a 164-minute runtime keep it a clear step below its legendary predecessor. It's the weakest entry in one of the strongest trilogies in modern blockbuster filmmaking, which still puts it well above most of what the genre has to offer.
