The Peggle-meets-deckbuilder loop, aim the shot, watch physics multiply damage, draft orbs and relics into increasingly ridiculous engines, survives the port intact, and the premium pricing, no ads, no purchases, makes it one of the storefront's honest citizens. Run variance still swings hard, late-game turns still slow as the engines inflate, and the touch aim's precision draws occasional gripes at the board's trickiest angles. As commute-sized roguelike engineering, it's the good stuff.

Played with a controller on supported hardware it approaches the console experience closely enough to count. Assassin's Creed Mirage on mobile brings the series' first complete mainline console entry to recent iPhones and iPads, Basim's whole Baghdad ascent with parkour, black-box assassinations, and contracts intact. Its session-sized mission structure suits the format better than the horror ports that preceded it, and with a controller it functions as a legitimate full playthrough. By thumb the stealth verbs slip, the premium pricing met the same wall every port before it measured, and the supported-hardware gate kept the audience small. A clean landing in front of a thin crowd.

Resident Evil Village on mobile is the handsome opening exhibit of premium mobile's great experiment, Capcom's full first-person horror hit delivered uncompromised to recent Apple hardware. The technical achievement startled everyone and the sales startled nobody, touch controls barely serviceable for a game built on aiming under pressure, console pricing colliding with storefront psychology, and the real audience narrowing to controller-owning enthusiasts. On the right setup it truly delivers, dollhouse chapter and all. The market's verdict on the category arrived faster than the werewolves.
