Late-game progress does bottleneck without spending, and the ad economy is persistent. But for an idle game, Egg Inc. has a surprising amount of real gameplay, and it rewards players who stick with it across months.

The interface doesn't translate perfectly to small screens, and the game requires patience measured in weeks.
